About the Role

Previous experience in Anesthesia not required.
Elite Sedation plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional anesthesia services in the field of dentistry. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated part-time Dental Anesthesia Assistant to join our team. While prior experience of anesthesia sedation is not required, a willingness to learn and strong attention to detail are important qualities for this role. Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care and assisting the Anesthesiologist in providing quality anesthesia services. Desirable qualities include reliability, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn and improve. As an assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the sedation process while maintaining a professional and friendly environment for our patients.

What You'll Do

  • Ability to commute / Able to travel long distances ( Will be traveling to different dental offices)
  • Willingness to arrive reliably to early-morning shifts
  • Assist the Anesthesiologist during induction of anesthesia
  • Assemble basic anesthesia set ups and equipment
  • Maintains records and document chart for each patient
  • Able to read and record basic vitals (SpO2, blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature)
  • Placement of holding mask during mask induction of anesthesia
  • Placement of NIBP, EKG, SpO2, and temperature
  • Assist with patient transport and discharge
  • Turnover, disinfect, sterilize, and replace supplies needed for all anesthesia related items for each case

  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking)
  • Pay: $25/hr ($20/hr through training period)
